SURNAMES AND INSCRIPTIONS ON GRAVESTONES IN THE LAWRENCE CEMETERY

 

Introduction

I have recorded many of the gravestones in the Lawrence Cemetery.  There are two cemeteries here.  The first cemetery is around the church building and I have called this the Churchyard Cemetery.  The other cemetery is across the street from the church, I have called this the "New Cemetery" as it was the newer cemetery of the two.

Wouldn't it be nice if we could fix the vandalized  stones not only so we could read the information, but also to give these ancestors the respect they deserve?  Won't you please get involved in any way,  or donate something to this cause?  If you would like to help in any way please e-mail one of the following members:
